About Us
Our team has been caring for the Napa Valley community since the mid-1980s! Our wonderful building has served several purposes over the years before it became a veterinary hospital. It’s been a bird barn, an artist’s studio, and also a residence! The warm and homey feel that greets you at the door helps to put your mind at rest and keeps your pets calm. We offer our clients an extremely high standard of medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care and have been AAHA-accredited for almost 30 years!
We are equipped to assist you with routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during their lifetime. We can manage your pet’s care here at our facility and solve most ailments in-house, which saves time and, most importantly, potentially your pet’s life.
Our team immerses ourselves in the wider Napa Valley community and proudly supports the local Napa County Animal Shelter, We Care Animal Rescue and Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.
The people and the pets of the Napa Valley are our passion. Our tight-knit team comes to work every day to provide the best care possible for your furry companions and family members!
How do we provide compassionate care?
It starts with developing a quality team of caring, respectful, motivated, highly skilled individuals.
Our team is our greatest asset: our friendly and helpful Client Service Representatives – the advocates for our clients, and our Technical team, who are responsible for providing nursing care to our patients – the advocates for your pets. Our highly educated veterinarians use their vast medical knowledge and passion for pets to help everyone who walks through our doors. Our whole team embraces and your furry friends benefit from our high standards of clinical care.
Our AAHA accreditation means that our hospital has been evaluated on over 900 standards of veterinary excellence. To maintain this accreditation, hospitals undergo a rigorous review by veterinary experts every three years. Your pets are our passion. And keeping them happy and healthy is our #1 priority.

We strive to make every visit as gentle, pain-free, and stress-free as possible for your pets. We are proud that many of our hospital team members have completed Fear Free Certification®! To become certified, veterinarians and team members must complete a comprehensive, 8-part educational course and exam.
