Dr. Jennifer Corsi
Veterinarian
I began my college career at Santa Rosa Junior College directly following high school where I earned my Associate of Science Degree in Biology. I then transferred to UC Davis and earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior with a minor in Animal Science. I was very involved at the UC Davis Animal Science Horse Barn completing a foal management internship and where my interest in veterinary medicine was solidified. I graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Prior to and throughout veterinary school, I worked as a large animal technician at the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital. Following graduation from veterinary school, I joined a private large animal practice. Due to starting a family and changing interests, I began working at a small animal general practice. I have been in small animal veterinary practice since 2010 and it is my passion. My professional interests include: dermatology with special interest in allergy management and immunotherapy, preventative medicine, and pain management.
I was born in Santa Cruz, California, but have lived most of my life in Sonoma, California. I married my high school sweetheart in 2001 after completing my undergraduate degree. We moved back to Sonoma County after I graduated Veterinary School and shortly after began a family. I currently reside in Sonoma with my husband John, daughter Madelyn, son Logan, and our Labrador Retriever Coco. I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, and singing.
I highly value the relationship I have with my clients and their pets and my goal is to nourish the human-animal bond and partner with the client in all decisions regarding their pet so that we together can make the best decisions for both the pet and the client. I will always have your pet’s best interests in mind with a goal to promote longevity and high quality of life.
I strive to make every visit as gentle, pain-free, and stress-free as possible for your pets. I am proud to be Fear Free certified! To become certified, I have completed a comprehensive, 8-part educational course and exam and also have to complete continuing education to remain certified.
